SAE LA currently offers two courses: the signature Audio Technology Program diploma that trains for careers in the music and post production industries, and SAE's Electronic Music Production course, a vocational training covering all the tools, tips and tricks involved in producing electronic music. Our school focus is hands-on training and getting our students into our campus studios and labs to complete real-world projects. SAE Institute alumni graduate with knowledge and experience that industry expects from them so they are ready to become part of an alumni network of industry professionals working with top artists, producers and companies around the world.

Our philosophy of "Hands On Education" has lead us to develop a program which provides each Audio Technology Diploma student an Apple laptop computer package including Pro Tools LE, Native Instrument's Komplete, and Apple's Logic software.  SAE LA brings the Industry to the classroom with artist guest appearances, seminars from top producers, engineers, and industry professionals in Los Angeles.
