SAE Institute LA is located on 6565 Sunset Blvd. in the heart of Hollywood.  SAE LA gives students unparralleled access to hundreds of professional studios within walking and driving distance. At SAE, students have almost unlimited individual access to various studios with consoles from NEVE, SSL, Toft, Mackie, Yamaha, and a 32 channel Avid ICON D-Controller. SAE LA is one of 50 campuses worldwide that educate students for careers in the recording, audio, live sound, and post production industries.

SAE LA currently offers three courses: the signature Audio Technology Program that trains for careers in the music and post production industries; the Electronic Music Production course, covering all the tools, tips and tricks involved in producing electronic music; and the Beat Lab Production course designed for aspiring Hip Hop producers and Artists. Our school focuses on hands-on training and providing students with individual studio time to complete real-world projects. SAE Institute graduates students with the knowledge and experience that the industry expects them to have, preparing them to become part of an alumni network of industry professionals working with top artists, producers and companies around the world.

Our philosophy of "Hands On Education" has led us to develop a program which provides each Audio Technology Diploma student with an Apple laptop computer package that includes Pro Tools LE, Native Instrument's Komplete, Apple's Logic software and much more.  SAE LA brings the Industry to the classroom; with guest appearances from artists, seminars from top producers and organizations, engineers, and entertainment professionals in Los Angeles.
